Pursuant to the concepts of open meetings, the board of directors of the Big Bend Groundwater Management District #5 (District) is announcing their participation in Kansas Groundwater Management District’s Board Member Roundtable to be held February 4th, 2025, from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. CST, at The Beacon, 420 SW 9th St, Topeka, Kansas. Following the Roundtable there is a Legislative Reception from 4:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. CST at the same location. A majority of a quorum of District board members may or may not be present during the roundtable event and reception. Regardless of District board attendance, no District business will be conducted, and no board action(s) will be taken. Only general discussion is planned for issues of mutual interest and concern.

CONSERVATION DISTRICT
To all qualified electors residing within the boundries of the Rice County Conservation District, notice is hereby given that pursuant to K.S.A. 2-1907, as amended, on the 27th day of January, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., an annual meeting of the Rice County Conservation District will be held at PJ’s Bar and Grill located at

The supervisors of the Rice County Conservation District shall make full and due report of their activities and financial affairs since the last annual meeting.
TWO:
The supervisors shall conduct an election by secret ballot of qualified electors there present, of one supervisor to serve for a term of three years from date of said meeting.
