You are hereby notified that on the 4th  day of March, 2019, a petition was filed in said court by Brent D. Adams, as an heir of Billy Carl Adams, deceased, praying for the appointment of Brent D. Adams as Administrator of the estate of Billy Carl Adams and you are hereby required to file your written defenses thereto on or before the 3rd day of April, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. of said day, in said court, in the city of Lyons, Rice County, Kansas, at which time and place said cause will be heard.  Should you fail therein, judgment and decree will be entered in due course upon said petition.

You are hereby notified that on March 1, 2019, a Petition was filed in this Court by Paul A. LaTourell, executor of the estate of Janice A. LaTourell, deceased, praying that the acts and proceedings of the executor be approved, that his account be settled and allowed, that the heirs, devisees, and legatees be determined, that the will be construed and the estate assigned to the persons entitled thereto, that executor’s fees and attorney’s fees and expenses be allowed, that the administration of the estate be closed, and upon the filing of proper receipts that the executor be discharged and released from further liability.

PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
AND PROPOSALS FOR
CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK

HOSPITAL DISTRICT NO. 2 OF
RICE COUNTY, KANSAS

Hospital District No. 2 of Rice County, Kansas, doing business as Sandstone Heights in Little River, Kansas, intends to issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to general contractors and construction management firms for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for projects identified as part of a recent successful bond issue. The projects will include the renovation of skilled nursing rooms, the construction of an activity room/storm shelter, the construction of an office addition, and miscellaneous remodeling within the existing facility.

A formal RFQ will be available after April 5, 2019. Any firm interested in receiving a copy of the RFQ shall submit a written request which must be received by Hospital District No. 2 no later than 5:00 p.m. CDT on Friday, April 5, 2019. Requests shall be directed to:

Responses to the RFQ will be due on a date specified in the RFQ, which date will be not less than 14 days after the RFQ is made available.
