ZONING HEARING
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN AND TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 24, 2025, the Sterling City Planning Commission will consider the following special use application for a zoning hearing at 5:15pm in the Commission Room at City Hall at 114 N. Broadway in Sterling, Kansas:
Case No. SU-2025-001.
Special use requested to establish a contractor’s office and storage buildings in the B-1 General Business District.
Legal description: S16, T21, R08, BEG NECOR NW4 SE4; TH S370’, W1319’, N370’, E1319’ TO POB.
General location: 906 North Broadway Avenue, Sterling, Kansas 67579.
You may appear at this time either in person, or by agent or attorney if you so desire, and be heard on the matter. After hearing the views and wishes of all persons interested in the case, the Planning Commission may close the hearing and consider a recommendation to the Governing Body which, if approved under the City Zoning Regulations, may include additional requirements to make such a use compatible with the neighborhood. The public hearing may be recessed and continued from time to time without further notice.
